What is included in your construction management plan service?
Our specialist service focuses on noise, vibration and dust. Depending on the brief, this can include surveys, predictions, mitigation recommendations, monitoring strategies and response procedures. We confirm the exact scope before starting.
Do you prepare the entire CMP, including traffic and logistics?
Our scope covers the agreed noise, vibration and dust elements. These can be provided as standalone plans or incorporated into a wider CMP or CEMP prepared with the project team. Responsibility for traffic, logistics and other disciplines is agreed separately.
Can you prepare a standalone dust management plan?
Yes. We can prepare a dust management plan around your activities, site setting and relevant requirements, including proposed controls, inspection responsibilities and monitoring arrangements where required.
Can you help respond to a planning condition?
Yes. Send the decision notice, condition wording and any local authority comments. We review the requirements and agree the specialist assessment and management information needed to support your submission.
Is a CMP the same as a Section 61 application?
No. A CMP sets out the relevant management arrangements for the project. A Section 61 application seeks prior consent for construction noise and includes information on the works, methods and noise-reduction measures. We can coordinate the noise information needed for both where applicable.
Do we need baseline surveys before the works?
That depends on the conditions, specification and assessment requirements. Where baseline measurements are needed, they should be collected before the relevant activities begin. We agree the scope and timing with you.
Will we need continuous noise, vibration or dust monitoring?
The requirement depends on the project, risks and relevant conditions or specifications. We assess the monitoring needed and agree the equipment, locations, measurement periods and reporting arrangements.
Does a management plan guarantee approval or compliance?
The plan provides a framework to support your submission and site management. Approval rests with the relevant authority, and meeting the requirements depends on implementing the controls, reviewing results and responding appropriately during the works.
What happens if the plant or construction programme changes?
Changes to activities, plant, methods or timing may affect the assessment and controls. Tell us about proposed changes so the relevant parts of the plan can be reviewed and any further submission requirements considered with the project team.
Can you support us after the plan is prepared?
Yes. Monitoring, reporting, specialist review and support with comments or revisions can be included in the agreed scope. We explain the support available and what is included in your proposal.
Is site monitoring tied to a fixed-term contract?
Where ongoing equipment monitoring is required, we can provide it on a rolling weekly rate without a fixed-term tie-in. Plan preparation, surveys and other professional services are scoped separately.
